This theatre is in aprett cool town. It has 2 screens but needs tons of work. New seats, new screens, new lobby and ticket booth. Sound system and booth need total make overs.
But the theatre still packs them in on the weekend!Cool pics here: http://www.cinematour.com/tour/us/7012.html
Single screen is a hard sell though no matter what. The price that is being asked is way to high. In similiar areas I have seen theatres with 3-4 screens go for a lot less, that are open!
Long Island e-mail me if you have any contact info on who has the sale for The Rockvilel Twin. Me and my freind have an idea for a cinema/cafe fot it.
The clientelle around there would love it.
I never got the e-mail but very interested in talking to you. I sent you an e-mail and hopefully you receive and will be able to reply! Otherwise we can talk through the site!
I am getting into the exhibition business within the next year. I am in negotiation to buy a theater in Pa.
I am looking to do the lobby and auditoriums over for a small town twin cinema! I am also wondering if I should replace or renovate the marque. Also can decide if I should erect a ticket booth in between the entrance doors. As of now it is a stand in the middel of the lobby cluttering everythign up for the concessions stand!
I am budgeted and was just looking to maybe do a lil at a time.
I have been searchging from North to south west to east, on buying a theatre. If the price is to low it is in despair with negative numbers. If the price is to high the numbers are good but bank wont give loan becasue of the way the industry is doing.
Rock in a hard place! looking for the perfect set up…….starting to think it doesn’t excist and small town theatres are fading away!
I have seen this theatre and it is well worth the price. Packed on the weekends. You have to remeber in small towns this is a center piece regardless of the small windows of Theatrical and DVD release.
This is a turnkey with never having to add or fix anything it has been done, even room to expand for another 2 screens if you want!
Worth a look before making judgement!
Does anyone know of any theatres for sale at a resonable price and not reflecting the fear throughout the industry of saggin box office and the take over of Digital and the end of Mom and pop theatres?
Looking in the New England area!
