It’s a photo by Lin Carriffe, one in a set he took for the application to get the Rialto on the National Register, something it achieved in 1978.   • <p>The Eagle Theatre removed seating from some auditoria on March 9, 2020 to put in recliners. On March 16, 2020, the entire hardtop theater industry was closed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. It would, however, re-emerge opening for five more years.</p>

  • <p>The new seats going in at their new cinema across the street will be much nicer then these old UA worn seats.</p>
  • <p>You can see that the seats are on a angle for half of the cinema.</p>

  • <p>Once a large wide booth now used for two Sony DCP projectors going into two separate auditoriums long and narrow. The 35mm film projectors have been removed many years ago. It never had 70mm. The original large screen had no curtains and was a floating type screen.</p>
