  • <p>The Braymer Theatre opened on March 17, 1962 with Dean Martin in “Oceans 11” and all opening night customers receiving free popcorn. On that night, operator Wayne Griffin running a “name the theater” contest. The name chosen was B-Bi Theatre. Nancy Clevenger won the contest explaining that the venue was “Braymer’s Jewel” with the B short for Braymer to Bi for jewel as in bijou. There you have it - the B-Bi Theatre - officially changing to that April 20, 1962.</p>
