our opinion dont go go digital, film is better. screens can be purchased used if you get to them on time. if you want a used screen i know where there are 3, if you call me at 904-781-9229 i will give you a name and contact number. we dont want to move or store all the equipment we have. we have 3 extra complete projector systems with updates you dont usually find when you buy them. the systems include the lamphouses, projectors, platters, xeon bulbs and a lens that will best suit or needs. also if you purchase a system Troy who is a certified tech will personally deliver it and set everything up for you.

we used to run the gainsville drive in and the playtime time drive in Jacksonville. we are in the process of trying to obtain the now closed Ocala drive in. we have everything you need, including the tech to help set up the projectors etc.

right now they are buried with other equipment etc. they are plexi/hard plastic, clear and either 5 or 6 slots wide, they sit on a shelf and each slot holds about 15 regular sized bars. they were last used st the playtime drive in , in jacksonville may 31 08 they have been in a garage ever since. we are in the process of trying to work out an agreement for the ocala drive in, it has built in counter candy display units, so we dont need these. we dont want to have to move them. the least we have to move the better.

there is a 2 screen for sale in green cove springs fl. it is called the clay theatre. dont know if the owner has sold it yet. we are in the process of trying to arrange a lease/to buy with the owner of the ocala drive in. we checked out the clay theatre, its really nice but we want a drive in.

Still waiting to hear from Clay County. However the possibilities of opening another drive-in in Clay or Duval County is not looking good. The regulations in both counties have changed so much that it might be impossible.
We looked at the Ocala Drive-In in Ocala Florida a couple of weeks ago and are looking into the possibility of re-opening it.

Finally got a yes on a piece of property in Clay County. Hopefully everything will work out and the Jacksonville Area will have a new drive-in by the spring. Only thing for sure right now is that we have decieded to name it Southern Lights. We will run a flea market on wed, fri, sat and sun.

Playtime was sold to a church on May 31 2008 and drive in was closed. Church doesnt have the money, building is old run down and in need of repair. We have a 3 tier platter system, a christie CH20 lamphouse with all updates, a century projector with soundhead, and a smart power amp. We also have a make-up table and can supply the speakers. We are asking 6000.00 for the system with the platter stand and 5750.00 without. This price does not include the make-up table or the speakers. We will throw in a flat or scope lens and 1 extra xeon bulb. We have a certified projector maitenance tech that will install for you. This system was last used May 31, 2008 at a drive in in Florida, the above date was the closing date for the theatre. We have 5 systems and are selling 3 in order to relocate and reopen the drive-in for our loyal customers.
