I think this Dixie and the Hi-Way 80 theatre are mixed up. The aerial images on the Hi-Way 80 post seem to line up with the size differences and the Dixie aka Circle would then be by the traffic circle shown in the aerial view.
4586 Houston Ave is actually the location of the 41 Hi-Way Drive-In based on the opening night ad of the 42 Hi-Way. Other sites list the Houston Ave Drive-In as closing late 1950’s and further up Houston Ave there is another Drive-In which disappears by the 1972 aerial images but is there in 1954/1955 at approximately 3775 Houston Ave, now the site of The Colonial Terrace Apartments
Per the opening night advertisement this would be approximately 4006 Mercer University Drive-no Topo or Aerial indication after 1954 but this is right across from the Macon Memorial Park
Address above does not map on Google Maps but is close if Young Harris is used instead of Hiawassee. Location is now a RV/Boat storage facility but the drive-in is shown in 1968 USGS topo maps
I believe the address is wrong-it appears from Google Earth timeline that the theatre was on the corner of NW 23rd Lane & N Parrot Ave (US-19) by the high school.
There are 2 locations that show up in the 1956 historic aerials images, one at 633 US-90 west of town south of the highway and the other at 2226 US-90 west of town north of the highway. I don’t know which is the Highway and which might be the Trail.
The site referenced is actually the second location of the Revere Drive-In. Originally located south of Beach St. where Super Stop & Shop is now located. You can see this clearly in the 1955 HistoricAerials.com view http://www.historicaerials.com/aerials.php?scale=1.2041373500713E-05&lat=42.43114318119&lon=-71.0208800669299&year=1955
Address is incorrect. Drive-In is located on the south side of Hustonville Rd(Hwy 78), west of the town. The address on their web site is 1645 Hustonville Rd which maps on google west of the actual location.
The address is the location of the Palm Drive-In. Was this built at 1800 E Victory where the old Dixie was?

The aerial image is actually the Southside/Weis Drive-In and based on the opening night map this was located at 41 Circle or about 4577 Houston Ave

Kenmore has it right. Historic Aerials 1956 aerial view shows a drive in at 569 US-129 west of town on the south side of the road.

From a 1983 Aerial view there appears to be remains of ramps at approx 3110 Apalachee Hwy (NE corner of Capital Circle SE and Apalachee Hwy)
Sorry-typo-should be US-441 not US-19

The address does not really work-the location is now part of the Ft. Lauderdale airport. Tarmac to the east of Terminal 1 Southwest gates.
The aerial shot shown is better addressed as 2095 W Vista Way, Vista, CA and just across the line from Oceanside
When it changed to 2 screens it was completely rebuilt and re-oriented. You can see the changes on HistoricalAerials.com from 1955 to 1969.

This Drive-In was located at the NW corner of N Hillside and E 27th St at 2701 N Hillside St.
The 215 E Main St is for the Norton Theatre (indoor). The Sunset was located on the SE corner of W Lincoln St and Road W1.
According to the view at HistoricalAerials.com this theater was located on the NW corner of 123rd St. and State Line Road
Now the WalMart on N Summit/US-77
Located behind what is now Westside Lawn & ATV Service at 1320 W Madison Ave (US-166)
This drive-in was located where the Okoboji Village mobile home park is now at 806 28th St.
It was located at Hudson Drive at Cove St per aerial photo at http://www.historicaerials.com/
Entrance off of Hudson Drive, bordered by Cove St & Wood St. Appears in the 1955 and 1960 photos but gone by 1972.
