I was really Surprized this one wasn’t already on CT.
Well, Perry Highway is US 27, or Apalachee Parkway within city limits.
Need an address or crossroads. More info and photos are always welcome.
Open till ~1975? Can anyone verify the exact date?
Owners:
1961 Talger Theater
1964 to at least 1967, Kent Theaters of Jacksonville, Fla., Frederick H. Kent, President & Owner, he had 27 theaters in Florida.
I don’t THINK the Parkway was a Drive-In, the only thing I could find was that it was a 5 Screen Multiplex open from 1985-1995.
This opened on April 9th, 1953
Found on Newspapers.com
Grand opening ad also in photo section.

From a 1983 Aerial view there appears to be remains of ramps at approx 3110 Apalachee Hwy (NE corner of Capital Circle SE and Apalachee Hwy)
Now Storage USA and Dunkin' Donuts (yum!🤤) at 3110 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32324.
Pease update.

The Perry Highway Outdoor Theatre closed in Spring 1974, and Kent Theatres was its last operator.
