Modern twin which opened December 22, 1971, was a part of the Sameric chain. Last operated by United Artists it had closed on January 10, 1992. After closing it became an “all you can eat” buffet restaurant. It was demolished in early-2018.

This is where I saw my first movie, Star Trek 1. I was 2, and can still remember it like it was yesterday. I als saw Star Trek 3 and Tremors there. Stale popcorn, bad sound, and poorly lit parking lot asside, it was always a great time.
Saw “Star Wars” here during it’s initial run in ‘77.
I couldn’t even count how many times I drove past this theater on the way to Philly. My mother wouldn’t drive on the Expressway, so we always took the White Horse Pike the entire 60 miles from AC to Philadelphia. The Eric was on the south side of the street across from the train station. The theater was set back quite a distance, but there was a marquee on the street as you drove by.

I never snuck into this theater, Mike. Just the Deptford ones because I was young and immature.
