Modern twin which opened December 22, 1971, was a part of the Sameric chain. After closing it became an “all you can eat” buffet restaurant. It was demolished in early-2018.

Listed as a 2 screen in the 1991 International Motion Picture Almanac under the United Artists' listing.
This is where I saw my first movie, Star Trek 1. I was 2, and can still remember it like it was yesterday. I als saw Star Trek 3 and Tremors there. Stale popcorn, bad sound, and poorly lit parking lot asside, it was always a great time.
Saw “Star Wars” here during it’s initial run in ‘77.
I couldn’t even count how many times I drove past this theater on the way to Philly. My mother wouldn’t drive on the Expressway, so we always took the White Horse Pike the entire 60 miles from AC to Philadelphia. The Eric was on the south side of the street across from the train station. The theater was set back quite a distance, but there was a marquee on the street as you drove by.
Marion, why are you complaining don’t you sneak into theatres “100 times”
I never snuck into this theater, Mike. Just the Deptford ones because I was young and immature.
looks abandoned by the time the Googlemobile passed it by

Demolished, with plans to become a Royal Farms.
Still an empty lot as of Late 2023
