The Skyline Drive-In was opened on July 28, 1953 with Marlene Dietrich in “Rancho Notorious”. It has a capacity for 300 cars. This drive-in closed on September 2, 1984 with Tanya Roberts in “Sheena” & Richard Mulligan in “Meatballs Part II”. After installing a new screen, marquee and snack bar it re-opened under new ownership in 2002. It had another reopening in 2016.

Its Nov. 3 2016 Facebook post reads in part, “We started this venture this year not knowing what to expect with a lot to learn. … We are looking forward to opening in the spring for our second season with bigger and better ideas.”
So it re-reopened in 2016? Or maybe it just changed hands? Good news is it says it’ll start the 2017 season in April.
Opened on July 28, 1953 with Arthur Kennedy in “Rancho Notorious” (unknown if extras added). The concession building was remodeled in May 1969, as well as an updated larger screen installation measuring 75x37½ft.
It originally closed on September 2, 1984 with “Shenna” and “Meatballs Part II”.
