The opening attractions were FRANKIE AND JOHNNY with Elvis Presley in its first-run engagement along with several other D.C. area theaters, and THE HALLELUJAH TRAIL which had already played in D.C. theaters in its second-run engagement.
Above address does not map correctly. Approx. address for this drive-in is now 14711 Baltimore Avenue. Now Paymer & Phillips. The entrance for this business is the entrance for the drive-in.
The 5 buildings on this property are where the drive-in stood.
Closed in October 1984.
Because this drive-in was in the middle of town and within walking distance of several neighborhoods, they had a outdoor seating section on both sides of the snack bar (like the one seen in THE OUTSIDERS when Matt Dillon is talking to Diane Lane).
