Opened June 8, 1955 as the Starlite Drive-In with Rhonda Fleming in “Those Redheads From Seattle” & Robert Wagner in “Beneath the 12-Mile Reef”. The name was changed to the Super 51 Drive-In in 1968. This drive-in had a capacity for 300 cars. The Super 51 Drive-In closed in 1981.

More accurately, approx. location of this drive-in was NE of Maryland 51 & Messick Rd SE, now in North Branch, MD 21502.

Part of the entrance road is still there.

Opened with 2 colour cartoons(not named), a colour short(“a visit to Norway”), “Those redheads from Seattle”, and “Beyond the 12 mile reef”.
