Spoke with a lady that opened the door as I was walking up. Told her I was taking pics for this site, and I got a glazed over look. Maybe she hadn’t heard of the internet yet. They were showing a movie, or I would have gotten some pics inside. If she would have let me in!

Said they opened back up last October.

Yes it has been. I went into this place about a year ago to look at it cause it was for sale for $15.000 and it was bad the roof leaks real bad infact i had to climb over the first five rows from the screen to get to the small lobby cause there were no keys for the front doors only the back door by the screen was open. Those first five rows were flooded by the recent rains and water went up all the way to the bottom of the seats. The screen had big gashes all the speakers and projection equipment was stripped and the walls inside the theatre were damaged due to the leaks of corse no power the front sign on the theatre outside was damaged beyond repair it would have to be completly rewired and plexy glass replaced. The Balastes for the lights were exposed and rusted. it would take well over $100.000 to fix up along with it would new new restrooms cause the ones that are in there are old and handicapped people could not use them due to steps being in the way for wheel chairs. Front doors to the place are worped and need to be replaced also.
