Opened in 2005, the Reno Cinema 8 is a $2.5 million theater and is Canadian County’s first theater to feature stadium seating and digital sound.
Combined capacity of the eight-screen theater is 1,100. The theater employs about 25 people in mostly part-time positions. Operators anticipate the theater will generate $90,000 in annual sales tax receipts for the city and another $1,500 in annual utility revenue. It had closed by October 2021. It was taken over by an independent operator in March 2022 and reopened as the El Reno 8 Cinema.

Reno Cinema 8 Is open
El Reno cinema 8 is not owned by B&B anymore it is an independent theater as of march 2022. Theater now has frito chili pie, Hot Dogs and Nachos along with much more and prices that are almost as cheap as the old days
Theater also offers 2$ Thursday. You get any size fountain Drink or popcorn for only 2$ every Thursday. This theater is highly recommended and so much better and cleaner and cheaper than AMC. El Reno cinema 8 is a must visit for passing through. Don’t waste your time at AMC, Reno Cinema 8 is where it’s best!!!
