Located on N. Cincinnati Avenue (today M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard) and E. Pine Street. The Pines Theatre opened on November 19, 1941 with Jean Arthur in “The Devil and Miss Jones”. It was closed on February 4, 1956.

Actually it was not Pine, but PINES Theater.
Pines Theater was designed in streamline modernistic styling by Architects Corgan & Moore.

Today a large mall has replaced the Pines Theatre.
Above 3-26-06 comment states Corgan and Moore designed this cinema.

From the Feb. 4, 1956 issue of BoxOffice: “The Pines, a Video theatre in Tulsa, will shutter on or about February 4, according to present reports.”
The Pines theatre opened on November 19th, 1941. Grand opening ad posted.
