AMC Classic Solon 16

The Solon Commons 8 was originally opened by Regal Cinemas in 1991. It was the first Regal Cinemas in the Cleveland area. After a couple of years, two more screens were added and sometime in the mid-1990’s, six more screens were added including two stadiums. As better theaters were being built nearby, Regal closed the theater down in 2004, and it was taken over by Cleveland Cinemas. In February 2013, it was taken over by Digiplex Destinations. In 2014 it was taken over by Carmike Cinemas.

In February, 2013, became part of Digiplex Destinations circuit. www.digiplexdest.com

Carmike acquired Digiplex Destinations in 2014, and this theater subsequently became Carmike Solon.
