Located just off 287 in Middlesex County in South Plainfield, this movie theatre has been entertaining patrons for many years. It opened as the 11-screen Magic Cinemas at Hadley on May 26, 1995. Later taken over by Regal and enlarged to 12-screens it is now a 16-screen theatre. Very big place and plenty of showings makes this megaplex a favorite for UCP respites from Morris/Somerset. The only thing I don’t like about this theatre is that they show the feature the same time as it is printed in the newspapers.

Most recently one of its screens uses Open Captioning and Descriptive Audio, and its ticketing service is Fandango. This theater shares the same 20-minute preshow with the AMC in Rockaway, aka the First Look.
Hope this theater will be one of the first to get 4k projection!!!!

this theater needs to be renovated.
As of a few weeks ago, recliner seats and reserved seating are now in this theater.
This opened as Magic Cinemas at Hadley with 11 screens on May 26th, 1995. Its grand opening ad can be found in the photo section for this cinema.
16 screens on December 17th, 1999. No grand opening ad found.
