Located on Route 20 in Auburn. Built on a hill with the back of the screen facing the road. Like many drive-ins at the time, the back of the screen was covered in aluminum with the theater’s name painted in large letters. It was opened on May 29, 1957 with Tyrone Power in “Abandon Ship” & Alan Ladd in “Saskatchewan”. It was closed in the early-1980’s.

The above address will map accurately to the location of the drive-in, which is currently occupied by a Home Depot.
Here is a 1971 aerial photo of the drive-in, courtesy of HistoricAerials.com.
Yeah, I already have posted that aerial on http://www.drive-ins.com/ a few months back with a lot more.
It looks like this closed in the early-1980s, as a 1985 aerial view shows the theater’s screen being removed.
Opened on May 29th, 1957, as America’s Most Modern Drive-In! Grand opening ad posted.
