Originally opened in 1971 as a single screen theatre by Manos Theatres. The opening film was Peter Sellers in “There’s a Girl in My Soup”. Located on University Drive (Route 119 S.) opposite Joseph A. Hardy Connellsville Airport in the Laurel Mall. It later added three more screens. It was closed in 2015.

This theater was once part of the old Manos theater circuit of Greensburg. When it opened, it had only 1 screen. The 3 additionial screens were added years later.

Closed down? Showtimes not at the Carmike website or elsewhere.

Based on people’s comments on the FaceBook page(s) it appears to have closed down around April of this year (2015), or possibly the end of last year (2014), after a few years of decline, and the space was gutted for asbestos removal in May.

Laurel Mall Cinema was launched by the Manos Circuit as a 350-seat mini-theatre in 1971 behind the Montgomery Ward anchor store. It opened February 26, 1974 with “There’s a Girl in My Soup.”
