The Comet Theater opened prior to 1931. This theater shows first run movies, art movies and hosts community events. It also has a coffee shop, a gift shop and an antique shop.
It was closed on June 20, 2024 due to a flood which was over 5ft deep. The interior has been gutted and renovations began later in 2024.
