First-run multiplex located at the Loop shopping center. Opened August 30, 2000. Directly competes with nearby Showcase Cinema in Lawrence and Chunky’s Cinema in Haverhill.

The Lowes name is gone from this theater.

Now comes the ever lasting debate of whether the name should be changed on the site or not. The building just says AMC, but the advertisements still say AMC Loews… what to do…?

They should change the loews sign to AMC for this theater loews Cineplex has been gone since AMC took over the loews theaters chain

Since the renovations took place (I was just there last weekend) the sign and the AMC website lists is as just AMC.

Boston and Danvers are still Lowes AMC

Showtimes started to appear on August 30th, 2000 and the official opening ad appeared on September 1st. 2000. Ad in the photo section.
