Cinema Theatre

The Lake Theatre was opened by 1941 and had been designed by architect Perry Crosier. It was undergoing a remodel when it was badly damaged by a fire in late-December 1967. It was rebuilt, but eventually closed.

By 2025 it was in use as a women’s clothing store.

Actually, the Lake Theatre burned while undergoing remodeling at Christmastime 1967 or so. It was rebuilt and reopened by Ben Berger’s company as the Cinema.
