The June 29, 1960 issue of Boxoffice listed the Park Theatre at Pelican Bay among Minnesota houses that had recently closed. It had been operated by Ivan Johnson of Fergus Falls.

Uploaded a 1940 photo from the Minnesota Historical Society showing the Park. However the caption incorrectly reads Main Street. There was also a Park Theatre in Park Rapids, MN which IS on Main Street, which is also on Cinema Treasures, an early photo of which verifies my contention of the incorrect caption by the Historical Society of the one I have uploaded.

Purchased by the city for $7,500.00 in 1963 to house the former City Fire Hall.
