Opened as the Hamilton Theater in 1916 with seating listed 650. Was renamed the Cinema Hamilton in 1966 for a short time and then reverted back to the Hamilton Theater. The theater closed in 1972 and has since been demolished. It was reseated when it was reopened as the Cinema Hamilton with seating listed as 575.

I worked at this theatre in 1976 as a projectionist. It was operating as The Hamilton Film Museum. Adult films were the genre.
I was heartbroken when I went by to visit several years later, only to find that it had been reduced to just one more parking lot…
