A Nashville landmark! My parents took me here to see “Snow White” when I was very young. In later years high school friends and I attended a number of movies here during the summers.
This drive-in was actually across the street where Walgreens is now. Approx. address was 1081 Murfreesboro Pike.
Sent a photo of the screen tower to Robin but she never posted it,I wish she would mail it back if she still has it.Does not look like she gets on C.T. anymore.
Still Quite a few Nashville Drive-in not listed Tis.

I have a photo of the Crescent Drive-in I will post as soon as posible.
This and many other theatres in Tennessee and Alabama were built and operated by the Crescent Amusement Co. based in Nashville, Tenn.
I remember the Crescent well. Its facade was a Nashville landmark. Althugh I barely remember it, my parents took me there to see “Snow White.”
During high school days(60s)friends and I attended many movies there.
I passed the Crescent on way to summer job during summers of ‘70 & '71. I know it was demolished sometime in the 70s; I lived out of state from '71-'89.
The Crescent was a Nashville institution whose passing I’m sure was
mounred by many.
The Crescent was a neighborhood drive-in. Lots of memories. Saw many, many films there. S-W was a new release, Th, Fri, Sat was a double or triple bill of older films, B-films, that sort of thing. Had the neatest neon crescent moon and blinking stars on the tower facing the street opposite the screen side. When I think of the Crescent’s demise, it is the only time I really get sad about the drive-in era coming to an end.
