Prides Corner Drive-In opened on May 14, 1953 with Gary Cooper in “Springfield Rifle” & Bud Abbott & Lou Costello in “Abbott & Costello Meet Captain Kidd”. It has a car capacity of 550 and is still operating today.

I was biking by at 9pm a few weeks ego en route to Portland and saw this from the road with Batman playing. Snapped a few pix and talked to the nice lady in the booth.

On Google Maps, Pride’s Corner is marked at the intersection of Bridgton Road (US 302) and Brook Street just southeast of the drive-in. Wikipedia says there was a Prides Corner elementary school, closed May 2012, at that intersection.
