The Queen Theater was opened on March 25 1927 with Charles Murray in “The Cohens and the Kellys”. In the late-1950’s it was leased to an independent operator from the Hodge estate, but it was actually owned for most of its years by Hall Movie Theaters. It was closed in 1961.

Howard T. Hodge of H&H Theatres began construction of the Queen Theatre in December of 1926. The $20,000 venue appears to have opened March 25, 1927 with “The Cohens and the Kellys.”
