Opened as a twin cinema on March 26, 1970. On December 20, 1978 a third screen was added. In mid-December 1984 a fourth screen was added. During this period the theatre was operated by Central States Theatres. CEC took over operations of the theatre and the theatre was rebuilt on May 21, 2004 when another 4-screens were added. In 2008 another 4-screens were added. It was closed by Marcus Theatres on May 23, 2024.

Opened on March 26, 1970 as a twin (with “The Secret Of Santa Vittoria” at Screen 1 and “Marooned” at Screen 2), became a triplex on December 20, 1978, a quad in mid-December 1984, four more added on May 21, 2004 bringing a total to eight, and four more in 2008 bringing a total to 12.
