Opened on April 10, 1952 with Dane Clark in “Fort Defiance” & Errol Flynn in “Captain Blood”. By 1955 it was operated by Video Independent. Held 550 cars and featured Spanish films once a week. It was closed on June 15, 1978.

During the winter it was all Spanish, but during the summer it had typical drive-in movies in English and once a week had Spanish movies.

Billboard, June 7, 1952: “The 550-car capacity Fiesta Drive-In has been opened at Midland, Tex., by J. Howard Hodge & Associates. Audie Adwell is manager. The drive-in is equipped with RCA sound and projection equipment. There is (sic) 125 lawn chairs for walk-in patrons in a special patio.”
