In early 2011, Westminster Presbyterian sold the property to a Russian church group, which is currently occupying the site. The remodelling work they have done on it over the past year and a half has been so extensive, it’s doubtful the Cascade Park 4 will ever again be able to function as a movie theatre.
Now known as “Revival (Возрождение) Church”.
The Cascade Park Cinemas, Hazel Dell Cinemas and the Renfro Drive-In Theatre were all owned by Jon and Colleen Thrift under the Luxury Theatres, Inc name. I worked for them back in 1986 – 1987.
This opened on March 17th, 1978. Grand opening ad posted. Was owned by Luxury Theatres and Act III over the years.
Closed in 1999 after 3 big new Regal cinemas opened nearby.
