Rave Motion Picture Theatres closed this 14-screen theatre on November 25, 2012. Alamo Drafthouse reopened it on November 19, 2013, as a 10-screen cinema. It closed April 3, 2017 and was taken over by AMC to be remodeled and re-opened November 2, 2017 as the AMC Kalamazoo 10. By January 2018 it had been renamed AMC Portage Street 10.

The Alamo Drafthouse Kalamazoo will have 10 screens.
Of course, this theater’s name should be changed to Alamo Drafthouse Kalamazoo and the number of screens changed from 14 to 10. It is being renovated for a planned grand reopening in October.

Seems like AMC has changed the name due to confusion with the Kalamazoo 10, which has sued AMC due to the confusion. If the name change is permanent, seems like the lawsuit is moot.
