Located in the Sherwood Shopping Center in a former Scotties hardware store. The Movies 5 Stadium Seating was opened on May 19, 1998. Teicher Theaters operated 43 screens in 10 theatres in four states. Discount seats. The Movies 5 Stadium Seating was closed on August 11, 2014.

According to their website all Teicher theatres are closed.
Teicher Theatres closed all of its locations on August 11, 2014 citing Alan Teicher’s age at 80 and his concern about digital conversion away from 35mm coupled with students going back to school ended the theatre and the circuit which only had three other remaining locations in Winchester, Indiana, Bradenton, Florida, and Greenville, Ohio.
The Movies 5 opened in phases starting on May 19th, 1998 to the end of May. Grand opening ad posted.
