The Ideal Theatre was an early movie theater in Stevens Point, opening on January 14, 1907. It was still open in March 1908 when it was operated by W.I. Kingsbury.
The theatre was on the ground floor of the Kingsbury Building. (the old One Stop Sports Shop)

Here is a link to a postcard showing the Ideal Theater. The Ideal is on the right (the large red building) at 414 Main St. it was later renumbered to 1016 in 1965. The postcard is from the late 1900’s.
