Place De Ville Upstairs Auditorium

Opened by Famous Players on March 31, 1971 with Dustin Hoffman in “Little Big Man” and Gig Young in “Lover and Other Strangers”. The Place de Ville Cinemas was one of the few piggy-back cinemas in Canada. There were two cinemas, one on top of the other. One had 751 seats while the smaller had 437 seats. They closed on March 18, 1996 with “Mr Holland’s Opus” and “Muppet Treasure Island”.
