Paramount Theatre

The Paramount Theatre opened on November 4, 1927 with Belle Bennett in “The Fourth Commandment” and was equipped with a Kilgen 3 manual 5 ranks theatre pipe organ. It was run by the local Hellman Theaters chain for a time. After the theatre closed in the 1956, it became an American Legion Post. In the 21st century, the building serves a branch of SEFCU (State Employees Federal Credit Union).

Recently, the classic facade was covered over with cement and aluminum to give it a more modern look.
