Opened October 11, 1915 as the Majestic Theatre, this classic vaudeville house has continued showing everything from travelling stage shows to classic films.
It was renamed Paramount Theatre on August 29, 1930. A new marquee was added in around 2000.

Patsy, we get our new blade this fall in time for the centennial. It will be a new replica of the original blade.

I’ve come across an early `50s photo of what appears to be a Stanford Theatre on Congress near 2nd Street, but can find no record of it anywhere. Looks to be a small marquee beneath a vertical sign. Anyone hear of it?
