No It’s AMC’s money that is being flushed down the toilet thanks to the pandemic.

My assumption based on this article is that this theatre closed as part of AMCs lease negotiations with EPR. the article mentions that EPR can close up to 7 locations as part of their lease negotiations as a result of the COVID shutdown. This is one location owned by EPR and it was a busy location prior to its closing. https://www.google.com/amp/s/abc13.com/amp/amc-studio-30-closed-movie-theater-on-dunvale-near-richmond-entertainment/7830726/

Here’s some good news Phoenix Theatres will be taking over this theater and possibly keeping the IMAX screen and converting the Dolby Cinema into a PTX Screen

I’m not surprised. This was usually a very busy theatre. It could use some updating, though. Not much has changed since it opened. It will be interesting to watch the progress of this.

Local news has reported that Phoenix plans to reopen the theatre about December 25,2020 with much of the same staff.

On March 20, 2017, the Lennox Town Center 24 became headlines after Clinton Township Police discovered a 26-year-old man named Cody Derby dead after overdosing himself from his seat. Franklin County deputies confirmed that he was in one of the auditoriums watching “Beauty and the Beast” when he threw up and passed out. They said that nobody was able to help Derby when he succumbed to his injuries.
