Opened on 15th August 1952 with “Brave Warrior” and “Thief of Bagdad”.
The August 2022 Google Street View shows the projection booth/concession stand is now gone.
It appears from the sign that the property may be used as an auction site or perhaps a farm equipment business. Not sure.
opened August 15th, 1952. Grand opening ad posted.
As of August 2018 from Google Street View, the projection booth/concession stand still stands.
Theater was owned by Blatt Brothers Circuit.
Sadly, the Corry Drive-In itself is now GONE-ZO. Demolition started in February or March and was completed April 3.
Sorry to read that it is now closed.
The exterior of this theatre was on a recent episode of the TV show “Forensic Files.”
This closed down in 2011.
How fun!
Chuck: I’ve spoken to the family who owns this drive-in and the father once gave me an old movie reel which I still own.
