Harper Theatre opened on November 10, 1948 with 700 seats. It was named after and opened by Glen Harper who then was leasing the Fontana Theatre. He also had a residential apartment upstairs of the Harper Theatre. It was closed in May 1954 and was converted into roller rink.
It’s now home to End Times Harvest International church.

This was advertised as Harpers Theater in 1949 in the LA Times, but in July 1950 the listing stated that the theater was closed.
A photo of the lobby of the Harper Theatre appeared in Boxoffice of December 2, 1950.
Motion Picture Herald, May 29, 1954: “The Harper theatre in Fontana, which was shuttered for the past few years, has been converted into a roller rink by Jim and Ernie Harper.”
