The Hollywood Theater was opened in 1941 in a long, narrow, plain-looking stand-alone building. It had a small marquee with a tall vertical sign above spelling out “Hollywood. At some time later it was renamed Harbour Theater and in 1990 was converted to the Bay Area Harbour Playhouse for live entertainment. It was closed in March 2020 and the building stands unused and deteriorating in 2026.

Closed since March 2020, you can see the theatre rotting away in Street View.
