Originally opened in 1911 as the Majestic Theatre, this theatre later suffered a fire, and was rebuilt as the Royal Theatre. It was badly damaged by another fire on November 11, 1945. During the 1940’s, it was operated as part of Fox Midwest Amusements. The Stadium Theatre was built inside the shell.
