Dreamland Theatre

This large ‘Electric Theatre’ appears on the 1908 map, on the ground floor of the Manion Building, a large two story brick structure completed sometime between 1889 and 1894.

The 1902 map shows this space as a saloon. Despite being quite commodious for an early theatre conversion, this space was a restaurant by 1913. This entire section of the block has been destroyed and replaced by a giant dreary shed housing the local newspaper, and a parking lot.
