This theater on Buffalo’s west side, opened on November 15, 1913 as a free-standing two-story structure. Around 1929, the theater closed, to re-open in 1934 as the New Jubilee Theater.
In the later 1940’s, Hungarian movies and entertainment were sometimes offered. Sid Cohen, who also operated the Allendale Theater for a time, ran the New Jubilee Theater in the 1930’s and 1940’s. A remodeling took place in 1950, but the next year, the theater closed.
It still stands, housing a marine supply store.
