The Dixie Theater was opened in 1940. It was part of the Dixie Amusement Company in the early-1960’s.

Hi all I loaded two photos of the Dixie Theater in Metter Ga.
The Dixie Theater, a popular site for movie-goers was originally located in the middle of the Northwest Broad Street block. The theater burned on a Valentine’s Day in the 1930s and was rebuilt at the end of the block.
