The Myers Theatre was opened by 1943. Charles Myers operated this theater as part of his eponymous circuit in the early-1960’s.

This theater was part of the Stewart & Everett chain in the 1950s, before Charles Myers took over.
MY FATHER MANAGED THIS THEATRE FOR STEWART&EVERETT CHAIN IN THE 1950s I SAT IN THE BOX OFFICE WITH HIM AS A CHILD.THOSE WERE HAPPY DAYS,FOR SURE
I think this theater is still standing! Well at least the building is anyways. The address is 109 N. Main St, Colerain, NC 27924. It and the building next to it is or has been used as a church! Cannot see anything inside they have curtains and blinds on the windows. Would love to see if there is anything left of the theater. If you look at the front it looks like it was a segregated theater with a main entrance and a separate door probably with seating in a balcony for colored.
This has not been demolished. It’s a mini-storage place.
