Opened with 5-screens on December 14, 1995. On May 15, 1996 it was expanded to 14-screens. In late-1998 it was expanded to 18-screens The Showcase Cinemas Worcester North were closed on March 17, 2020 due to the Covide-19 pandemic. It was announced in June 2021 that the closure would be permanent. It was demolished in February 2022.

The theater has a 4-theater wing with an upscale concession stand. “Showcase Cine Art” – art and finer studio fare play in these theaters.
By the time of my visit, in September 2015, the auditoriums in the ‘upscale’ four-screen wing were playing regular releases only. The “upscale concession stand” John Fink mentions has been closed.
This opened in three phases, Phase 1 with 7 screens on December 14th, 1995, 2nd phase on May 15th, 1996 to 14 screens, and the 3rd phase opening in late 1998 for a total of 18 screens.
Theater has been demolished. Demolition began February 2022.
