Closure was due to the popularity of nearby Baxter’s triplexes (the Westgate and the Westport).

Closed on September 1, 1985 with “Rambo: First Blood Part II” and “The Legend Of Billie Jean”.

  • Here’s a fun fact: “Rambo Part II” was also one of the last films screened at the nearby Brainerd Theatre a few months later.

This theatre is not open. The screen is still there, but it hasn’t shown a movie in years. Unfortunately

In 1956 it parked 470 cars and was owned by Home Theatres.
