The Star-Lite Drive-In was located on the north side of Danville and could hold 396 cars and seating for 84 walk-in patrons. It was opened June 18, 1949 with Rod Cameron in “Panhandle”. It was closed at the end of the 2005 season.

Approx. address for this drive-in was 2063 Shakertown Road.
This opened on June 18th, 1949. grand opening ad in photo section.
Address is too far north of where the drive in was. The site of the drive-in was at 1630 Shakertown Rd, Danville, KY 40422 which is where Danville’s Food Mart is as well as some residences.
Opened With The 1948 Film “Panhandle”. The Star-Lite Closed At The End Of The 2005 Season.
