Located just west of Springfield at 2551 Dayton Avenue (Old Route 4), the Stardust Drive-In was opened on July 4, 1948 with Dana Andrews in “Kit Carson. It was operated by Sam Levin. Closed at the end of the 1982 season, the screen was blown down by a storm a few years later. Today the site is used by C & S Tree Service. The concession stand is still standing.

The Stardust Drive-In opened on July 4th, 1948. Grand opening ad posted.
The concession stand/projector booth was demolished some time before 2009. All that is left is part of the walls which hold a considerable amount of dirt.
Last season: 1982.
Closed at the end of the 1982 season.
