Originally opened by Chris Maguire Theatres in 1969, the Village was small house located in the bend of a strip shopping center.
In 1974 it was taken over by ABC Florida State Theatres which lacked a Hialeah outlet for Disney films which did exceptionally well at the Wometco Palm Springs down the street but were aligned with ABC elsewhere.
In 1982 it was twinned and re-opened by a local independent as the Atlas Twin. it operated until 1993.
