Centra Cinema

Located near the Bourse in the city centre. It opened as the Mony Cinema in 1939. In December 1939 it was re-named Apolo Cinema. In 1947 it was taken over by the Soudan circuit and was renovated and re-named Centra Cinema.

It was equipped with CinemaScope in 1954, and featured films such as “Bad Day at Black Rock” and “Blackboard Jungle”. It was taken over by an independent operator in 1957 and was closed in June 1966 with “Operation Crossbow”. Since then it become part of a medical center, but this has since closed.

the entrance of the cinema was the right door,the medical center is also closed
