The final shows advertised were on September 6, 1993 with “Hard Target” and “The Fugitive” on the East screen and “Needful Things” and “Jason Goes to Hell” on the West screen. There were no other further listings.

The Oct. 19, 1957 issue of BoxOffice ran a lengthy story about the Twin adding a shopping center to its grounds.

The address above is incorrect. The ad is correct.

A more accurate address for this theater is 2866 E Pleasant Run Pkwy N Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46203. This points directly to the entrance road which is still there. In current aerials, you can actually see the foundations of the 3 box offices behind the shopping center. Hoyt Avenue was next to the drive in. There was no entrance from that location. Ramps, screen and concession foundations are all visible.

Please update.

Ad for the Zoo from July 15th, 1956. Another ad on the page claims that it was the world’s largest drive-in, but they are wrong.
